Competitions by USALSA.

Our advocacy modules are aimed at providing you with active and instrumental professional experiences.

UniSA Law Students’ Association hosts a collection of legal competitions aimed at providing law students with opportunities to develop their advocacy, research, writing and soft skills. These competitions are principally designed to emulate real legal situations. This helps students develop confidence and experience in a positive learning environment, and complements their study and eventually their abilities in practicing law.

Competitions are conducted in two rounds – a preliminary round and a grand final. Competitions usually run between weeks 3-4 with a grand final finish held in the mid- semester break. Registration will open at the start of each study period and will close before the release of the competition question.

Whether a new student or a seasoned third year, take a look at upcoming competitions and have a go! Competitions are fun and look fantastic on CV’s. Competitions also provide an opportunity for students to meet South Australia's leading legal professionals, who often judge grand finals.

Dates and details of competitions will be made available soon.
