The USALSA First Year Guide is the go to guide for first year law students wanting to find out all the need to know information when starting their law school journey!

UniSA Law Students' Association is excited to publish the first volume of our 2022 Skills Series, authored in collaboration with premier law firm, Piper Alderman.

This series is designed to provide law students with an unusual insignt into marketing themselves within the legal profession. The series will be made up of three volumes, each tackling the way students can market themselves to the different sectors of the legal profession; HR Representatives and recruitment, Peers and collegues (i.e. other lawyers) and finally, the wider professional world through marketing techniques (helpful for in person networking events) as well as marketing resources (such as linked in) to expand your reach to the wider professional industry.

In volume one, downloadable via the link below we have recieved insights from Piper Alderman's Emily Mortimer (Director of Human Resources) and Olivia Sharman (HR Associate) about the key ways a young legal professional can stand out to the recruitment industry, both generally and through their CV's and applications.
